Connor Cleary

I am a aspiring film maker, who is keen to get in to the british film industry as soon as I possibly can, after completing my time at film school.

I am currently studying at Portsmouth University carrying out a BA In Film And Television Production, where I have learned key skills in Directing, editing, Producing and shooting, as well as learn how to manage a team and work to tight deadlines.

 

I am currently looking for any film or photography work, including jobs as a runner, assistant operators, or freelance work.

 

I have experience with many diffrent editing programs across all platforms including Mac and PC, this includes but not limited to:

Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop and Audition.

Avid Media Composer, Pro Tools

Apple Final Cut Pro X,7

I enjoy the process of editing, playing around with what software can do, and in some cases what software can not do.

 

I have worked in many diffrent situations, such as the busy streets of cardiff, and the dark halls of a military band show.

 

I am experianced in the use of cameras such as the canon 7d, 5d mk2, and 60d, also with the panasonic GH range of micro four thids cameras. I am also confident in the use of audio mixers, radio mics and other production equipment.

 

My main strengh, is my second nature to lead and get the most out of anyone I am working with, but also to learn from everyone and try new things.

 

I still need to gain experience in every way possible to get further, and by making more short films, I can enter them in to film festivals and get critiqued, I feel its a constant learning process of which I am more than glad to partake.
